Project Description
Since its establishment in 2001, MODON has managed and developed public and private industrial lands and integrated infrastructure, currently it oversees the development of 36 industrial cities across Saudi Arabia. MODON has increased the area of developed industrial land nationally to around 200 million square metres, which include over 4000 factories. As a strong driver of Saudi economic growth, MODON significantly combats unemployment rates by employing over 200,000 Saudi men and women.
Advisory
STF collaborated with MODON on the design and space layout of their latest 2 tower headquarters in Riyadh. STF conducted extensive research into best practices and efficient methodologies of interior spacing, then built a consortium of 3 third-party partners to execute the project, operating under STF’s project management. As part of the innovation framework management, STF developed a comprehensive concept for an experiential industrial museum to be established on the MODON premises to engage public interest in industrial cities integrated infrastructure.
Spaces
Inspired by novel and innovative work environments, STF designed MODON’s latest headquarters. After analyzing the nuances of global office spaces such as AirBnB in California and PWC in Sweden, STF created a layout that would boost team morale, interactivity and productivity. STF assessed, researched and curated a wayfinding flow that applies best to the various functions of the office departments. Following diligent research and benchmarking, our team developed out of the box creative zoning methods across the two 18 floors towers, that enhance the office experience through departmental specific wayfinding systems, interior design and landscaping guidelines.
