National Water Company
Project Description
The National Water Company (NWC), founded in 2008, is a Saudi joint stock company wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund. NWC provides national water and wastewater services, by connecting all residential, commercial and corporate customers to an integrated network of water and wastewater disposal facilities. NWC additionally works towards the securement of drinking water, currently through natural sources with future ventures into desalination plants valued at over 4.3 billion Saudi riyals on the Eastern coast of Saudi Arabia.

Creating an innovation management framework is essential for fostering creativity and growth within an organization. STF collaborated with NWC on the creation of an innovation hub, by identifying key business objectives, customer needs and market trends. STF then developed a concept for an innovation lab by assembling cross-functional teams, conducting ideation sessions, and selecting the most promising ideas for further development, ultimately driving the organization towards sustainable innovation.

In the context of the NWC, the process of designing interactive and responsive UI|UX for a mobile application is vital for enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. STF assumed a user-centric approach in the UI|UX design process, to ensure that customers can easily access information, pay bills and report issues seamlessly through an intuitive and visually appealing interface.
Spaces
STF designed the NWC on premises Innovation Lab, which was developed with the objective of integrating office spaces, avoiding enclosures that tend to disengage team members. Components of the space were strategically designed to project an interactive workspace with zoning placement aligned along various touchpoints that evoke an inviting open plan to boost team engagement, communication and collaboration, As well as a 3D mock-up of the innovation lab.
